My Girls and Summer

One of my favorite things about summer is having my girls with me all of the time. Sure, we all get on each others nerves now and then, but that is just the reality of living, most of the time we all totally dig each other.

Today I got to experience one of my favorite things in life....listening to my girls giggle together. I'm sure this is what every parent says about their children, but my girls are seriously, the best gigglers ever. Bella giggles with her whole heart and soul, the sound just envelopes you. Mia's giggles are more visceral and seem to roll like waves on a lake as the sound washes over you.

It amazes me that there is so much to discover about a person in the way they giggle and that I never really noticed until I had kids. Oh the joys of a lazy summer day and daughters.

blogging, hmmmm

So, I have had some reservations regarding blogging, I mean really what would I say and who would want to read it? Should it be a family blog, or should it be a little blog of thoughts, or should it be a blog about me? Also, what should the name be, same issues as previously mentioned. I decided that I was overthinking it (those of you who know me will not be shocked by this) and that I will blog about whatever strikes my fancy, hence the name. So you may see pics of my kids or random thoughts, or things about me, who knows, we will just have to see how it develops! Before I close my first post we must not ignore the homage to my favorite Cusack movie ever, can't you just see the boombox and hear Peter Gabriel serenading you? Welcome to say anything!
